First Time Homebuyers
The 2009 First Time Homebuyer ($8000) Tax Credit
To stimulate the economy and basically help sell more houses the government has enacted a tax credit for first time home buyers. Many people have been asking about this program and I would like to provide as many details as possible. This is a great program if you are a first time home buyer or it has been a while since you owned a home. You may qualify for this credit and not even know it. Unlike the “credit” from last year this is a true credit and does not need to be repaid unless you move before three years is up.
